Michael Roth is the former Chief Financial Officer of Marcel Manufacturing (aka Soundview Paper Company) where in the first year he helped reverse a $15 million EBITDA loss to a $5 million positive EBITDA.

Michael Roth has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, professional services and retail environments. He is experienced in reengineering processes and procedures with particular emphasis on internal controls and opportunities to enhance the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting systems. He has also handled a broad range of responsibilities including corporate finance and accounting, budgeting, cash management, inventory control, banking, vendor relations, information technology, and human resources.

Michael Roth previously served as CFO/VP of Finance for the Cape Success group companies, including Career Blazers and Immedient Corp., providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions. While there, he reduced selling, general and administrative expenses and put in place a reporting package for all financial reporting, cash forecasting, and key performance indicators across all lines of business. He also facilitated the sale of the individual business units to maximize shareholder value. Previously, he began his business career at Nabisco Brands Inc. and later worked for Burns Philip Ltd, an Australian consumer products company where he held various financial management positions. He holds a B.B.A. and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey and a member of AICPA.
