Andreas Rothe

Andreas Rothe has been CFO and Senior Executive for several global companies in various industries, overseeing Finance, IT and operations: the environment and engineering firm Golder; the largest global immigration service provider Fragomen; Harsco Infrastructure (now BrandSafway), a global scaffolding and formwork solutions provider; the engineering firm Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP); the container transportation company Hapag-Lloyd and the logistics and distribution firm Schenker.

There he spearheaded change, streamlined operations, and drove bottom line growth in both highly profitable and turnaround situations. Other areas of focus included M&A including two successful exits and various system implementations.

Some of his achievements:

Productivity: Enhanced productivity in operations by over 50% through benchmarking, process-reengineering, and systems development.

Turnaround: Co-Led restructuring and turnaround activities of a business that lost over $100m over three years.

Cash Flow: Improved Cash-Flow through streamlining treasury and lowering working capital/inventory.

Controls: Implemented controls resulting in higher compliance and efficiency.

Forecasting: Improved management decision making through faster and accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Systems: Implemented several ERP, Business Intelligence and other systems.

M&A: Sold companies to strategic and private equity investors. Prepared company to go public. Various due diligence and acquisitions.

Leadership: Built high-performance teams and led change in competitive and complex businesses.

Andreas currently chairs the board of Financial Executives International, the 10,000 member organization for CFOs, treasurers and Controllers that provides advocacy and personnel development through research, peer networking and conferences.

Andreas graduated with an MBA from the University at Cologne, Germany and is a Certified Management Accountant and an Audit Committee Financial Expert.
